UCPN (Maoist) Secretary CP Gajurel said the current Maoist-led government is just like "a patient kept in an ICU (Intensive Care Unit of hospital)", adding that it is in its last stages and barely surviving on life support system.
Speaking at a press meet held at Rajbiraj Monday morning, he said the incumbent government is "clinically dead" and will not survive for long.
Gajurel said that the current government is not the government of his party as it doesn't follow the policy and directives of the party and also claimed that it doesn't even have the popular support of the people.
The party secretary said the days of the current government is numbered and called for the dissolution of the government at the soonest.
Gajurel also accused the government of signing various 'anti-national' agreements like the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPPA) and agreement on the Upper Karnali, the Pancheshwar and the Kosi High Dam projects which are against the interest of the people and the nation. nepalnews.com

Maoist CC meeting put off as hardliners announce boycott
The central committee meeting of the UCPN (Maoist) scheduled to take place today at the party headquarters Paris Danda has been deferred to Tuesday after the hardliner Mohan Baidya faction refused to participate.
However, party chairman Dahal cited "lack of homework" for the reason to postpone the meeting, Maoist sources said.
Dahal had called the CC meeting as per the decision of a separate meeting of the central committee members loyal of the party establishment at Summit Hotel last week. The meeting had decided to discuss the internal rift and find a solution.
Baidya faction has said it is meaningless to organise the CC meeting without implementing the previous CC decisions. They also want Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to quit immediately. nepalnews.com
